The Member of Parliament for Adansi Asokwa in the Ashanti Region , has lost his parliamentary seat after the close of polls in the December 7, 2024, presidential and parliamentary elections.
KT Hammond, the long-serving MP, lost to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate Godwin Animli Dorgbadzi-Dorani who secured 14,229 of the valid vote cast while KT Hammond garnered 13, 275 votes.
Results from the various constituencies are being announced following the counting and collation of votes at the various polling and collation centres across the country.
The exercise, which is being held at the various collation centres in the country is aimed at promoting transparency and fairness in the electioneering process.
