Kojo Oppong Nkrumah of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has retained his seat as the Member of Parliament for Ofoase/Ayirebi in the 2024 elections.
Nkrumah, representing the constituency since 2016, secured a significant majority against his opponents.
The Works and Housing Minister polled 18,601 votes while his key contender, Alfred Osei-Poku of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) got 13,415 votes.Meanwhile, the NDC has made significant gains in the 2024 elections, flipping the Mpohor and Sekondi parliamentary seats from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In Mpohor, Henry Godfred Bentil emerged victorious over the incumbent MP, John Kobina Abbam Aboah Sanie.
