The National Peace Council (NPC) has appealed to political parties to withdraw their supporters from collation centers nationwide.
This follows actions by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP), who had urged their supporters to gather at collation centers to prevent alleged vote rigging.
Currently, many party supporters are stationed at collation centers across the country.
However, the NPC, in a statement, expressed concern that such actions could create tension and slow down the electoral process.
