Reports indicate that supporters of the incumbent MP, Lydia Alhassan, and aspirant MP for the NDC, John Dumelo, clashed on the University of Ghana campus during the ongoing elections.
According to Citi News, Lydia Alhassan's supporters were allegedly distributing money to voters at the UG Campus polling station.
The situation escalated when John Dumelo's supporters confronted Alhassan's camp after discovering that someone had filmed the alleged exchange of funds.
This led to a chaotic confrontation, drawing the attention of the military, who arrived in pick-up trucks to restore order.
