Tragedy has struck Nyankpala in the Tolon Constituency in the Northern Region, during the 2024 general elections, as one person has lost his life with two others sustaining injuries in an election-related incident.
The details surrounding the incident remain unclear, but the shooting led to the death of one person who is believed to be a voter.
Security personnel according to Channel One TV's Shawarna Yusif, were quickly dispatched to restore calm and secure the area.
However, one of the victims who sustained injuries was in a branded T-shirt of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
