The Director of Communication for the Bawumia Campaign Team, Dennis Miracles Aboagye has expressed concern over alleged efforts to manipulate the ongoing election, specifically citing actions by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, December 7, 2024, Aboagye urged Ghanaians to refrain from actions that could tarnish the country's electoral process, calling on party agents, security agencies, and polling station officials to remain vigilant and ensure peace at the polls.
He specifically criticised the NDC for allegedly pursuing crude methods to influence the election, which he called "worrying," particularly in 2024. "So, please let us all eschew from unnecessary and evil actions that cause serious dent on our electoral process.
It is quite worrying that even in 2024 we still have the NDC trying to pursue crude ways of manipulating our elections. "The NPP is calling is calling for Joseph Dery's immediate prosecution because what he has done is a deliberate attempt to disenfranchise Ghanaians", he noted.
