The Electoral Commission (EC) has issued a stern warning to its officials, stressing that any compromise of the electoral process will result in strict disciplinary actions.
The warning follows the arrest of an EC official in Kintampo South, Bono East Region, for alleged electoral malpractice during the ongoing 2024 general elections.
The suspect, identified as Dery Joseph, is under investigation for reportedly issuing 15 ballot papers that omitted the first presidential candidate, Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia, at the Ampesika Bayere polling station.
