Some persons believed to be members of the (NPP) have been arrested by the police for allegedly thumbprinting a large number of ballots for the ruling party in an illegal manner.
According to reports, the accused persons were thumbprinting multiple ballots to aid the NPP Flagbearer, , as well as the parliamentary candidates for Amasaman and Trobu constituencies.
It was also indicated that items such as a laptop, cash, a Biometric Verification Device (BVD) machine, a printer, and additional laptops were in their possession.
In a video shared on social media, police vehicles were seen carrying some persons to their station for interrogation.
