The Minister of the Interior, Henry Quartey, has ordered the temporary closure of all land borders as part of measures to ensure the integrity of the December 7 General Elections.
This directive was issued in a statement on Friday, December 6.
The temporary closure is effective immediately and will end at 6:00 pm on Sunday, December 8, 2024.
The Ministry urges all citizens and travelers to and from Ghana to cooperate with State Security Agencies enforcing this directive.
