The Member of Parliament for Effutu, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has described the voting process so far as straightforward and secured.
After casting his ballot, he urged all eligible voters to go out and cast their ballots in the ongoing general elections.
In a post on his Facebook account, he wrote, "I exercised my civic duty and cast my vote in the ongoing election.
I encourage all constituents to do the same.
