Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has indicated that he is optimistic his message has been well received by the people of Ghana.
He is hopeful that the people of Ghana will vote massively for him and the New Patriotic Party in today's election.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was speaking to the press after he cast his ballot in the North East Region of Ghana. "By the grace of God, I am very hopeful of winning this election.
I think that we have done a lot of work; we have put our message to the people, and I think that the message has been well received, and I believe that by the grace of God when all the ballots are counted, the NPP, myself, and our parliamentary candidates will emerge victorious," he said.
