Security personnel have been sighted at various polling centers across the country as the voting has started.
Some of these personnel include the , Ghana Fire Service, and other agencies responsible for ensuring a serene atmosphere to protect voters.
Some polling centers include the Madina Zongo Central Mosque in the Greater Accra Region, Asawase constituency in the Ashanti Region, Sunday Market constituency in the Savannah Region, and most centers across the nation.
The Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, has vowed that his personnel are well-equipped to ensure peace prevails at various polling centers to safeguard the lives of voters.
