The Sene West Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Joseph Kumah Mackay, is hopeful of a peaceful election in the Constituency.
Joseph Kumah Mackay expressed the optimism after casting his ballot as the first person at the D/A No 1 Polling Station.
According to him, looking at the peaceful atmosphere in the Constituency, he also expects a high voter turnout.
Joseph Kumah Mackay is seeking to wrestle the seat from the NDC's incumbent Member of Parliament, Kwame Twumasi Ampofo. 801 candidates are contesting the 2024 parliamentary elections with the number of constituencies moving from 275 to 276 following the creation of the Guan constituency in the Oti Region.
