The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has cautioned non-Ghanaians to refrain from participating in Saturday's polls.

This follows communication from the Ghana Immigration Service on the arrest of the NDC Secretary for Akatsi North for attempting to transport dummy ballot papers to Togo with the reason of carrying out voter education.

Reacting to this, the Director of Communications for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's campaign, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, described the act as worrying.

At a press briefing in Accra on Friday, he urged NPP polling agents to prevent non-Ghanaians from voting. "The NDC Constituency Secretary for Akatsi North was met with some ballot papers by the Immigration Service in the area.
