Ghanaians are set to head to the polls today, Saturday, December 7, 2024, in one of the most anticipated elections in the country's democratic history.

Beginning at 7:00 AM, voting will take place across all the 276 constituencies, with 18,774,159 registered voters expected to cast their ballots at 40,648 polling stations.

The presidential race features 12 candidates, with the contest heavily focused on two frontrunners: Dr.

Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and former president John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
