Four women out of 24 parliamentary candidates in eight constituencies are contesting the 2024 general elections within Tema and its environs.
They are Ebi Bright for Tema Central, Dornukie Naa Norteye, and Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe Ghansah for Ada, and Eunice Lasi, Sege.
Ebi Bright is leading the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the third consecutive time to try her luck to change the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) dominance in Tema Central.
Dornukie Naa Norteye, a new face representing the NPP, seeks to unseat Madam Ghansah, the incumbent who is contesting to retain her seat and be in Parliament for the fourth time.
