Lawyer Kwame Jantuah has raised concerns about the tendency of presidential leaders in Ghana to avoid collaboration with past presidents who are in opposition once they come into power.
During an interview with Naa Ashokor on TV3's Ghana Decides show, Lawyer Jantuah emphasised the importance of unity between current and former presidents for the greater good of the country.
He pointed out that while some leaders have tried to engage with past presidents, such cooperation is often lacking. "When we have a president in power, they don't tend to work with past presidents in opposition to any significant degree.
Nana Addo made an effort to change this early in his tenure when he called former presidents to the Flagstaff House for discussions," Jantuah said.
