President Akufo-Addo has urged the staff of the newly commissioned Agenda 111 hospitals to ensure that the facilities are adequately administered and maintained.

He says this will ensure that the government's commitment to improving the health status of all residents in the country through improving healthcare infrastructure is realised.

President Akufo-Addo commissioned three new 40-bed District Hospitals on Wednesday, 4th December 2024, in the Eastern Region of the country.

Having already commissioned four of such hospitals in the Ashanti region late last month, these three latest additions located in the Okere District, Jumapo, in the New Juaben North Municipality and Kwabeng, in the Atiwa West District, are part of a total of twelve 40-bed Hospitals in Ashanti, Eastern, Greater Accra region and one Polyclinic at Mim, in the Brong Ahafo region.
