The Minister for Information, Fatimatu Abubakar, has taken a swipe at former President over his promise to continue the Agenda 111 project started by the government. Speaking in an interview on Angel FM on August 14, 2024, the minister indicated that the former president, who is the flagbearer of the ruling (NDC), was being hypocritical with his promise to complete the Agenda 111 project. She said that Mahama himself had said the project, which is to construct 111 health facilities across the country, was impossible but today, he is saying he would complete them. "You untie an animal at the same place you tied it. And also, it is not easy to catch up with someone who has gone ahead of you. Why has the Agenda 111 project become topical again this week? "It is because former President Mahama said we should give him another chance on the seat of government, for him to complete the Agenda 111 project," the minister said in Twi.
