A downpour that initially threatened to mar the final rally of turned out to be a blessing, as thousands of NPP supporters showed defiance and love.
The rally was getting to its peak, with party gurus such as former President Kufuor, President Akufo-Addo and the candidate, Bawumia, yet to address the crowd.
However, the heavens opened, thereby threatening the rally.
The rains started slowly when former President Kufuor was delivering his passionate appeal to Ghanaians to vote for Bawumia, but the veteran politician was unperturbed, and so were the thousands gathered.
