Former President has stated that it would be disappointing for the (NDC) to return to office and commit the same atrocities that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has inflicted on Ghanaians these last eight years.
He said Ghanaians are going to put their trust in the NDC come December 7, but the party must prove itself worthy of that trust. "The change we are all looking for," he posited, "starts with members of the NDC, and I promise you we will be able to work together and put our country back on its feet." He encouraged voters to vote for him, saying, "Vote for , and I will make you proud of the Ghana we are going to build together." He said this at the party's final rally on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Zurak Park in Madina.
He advised voters to vote wisely and further cautioned the NPP administration, the security services, and the entire body of people supervising the elections to resist any attempt to manipulate the elections.
