Speaking to teacher groups in the Ashanti Region, Dr.
Opoku Prempeh, a former Minister of Education, underscored the government's efforts to enhance teachers' service conditions.
He pointed out that the starting salary of teachers has tripled since 2016, describing it as a significant milestone under the NPP administration. "The NPP government has consistently prioritised the welfare of teachers, recognising their invaluable role in shaping the education process and the nation's future," he said.
