Joyce Bawah Mogtari, spokesperson for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama, has criticized the government for celebrating the International Monetary Fund (IMF) report, which indicated that the performance of the Ghanaian economy under the IMF program was generally satisfactory.
She explained that a generally satisfactory performance means just that, without any meaningful change, it remains lackluster, uninspiring, and nothing more.
To that end, she said, the government's reaction smacked of a failed administration that celebrates mediocrity.
