The National Election Security Task Force (NESTF) has announced a road diversion plan for the Legon-Madina area in the capital as the two major political parties move to crown their campaigns with rallies at venues in close proximity.
The police also hinted of adequate security but cautioned party leaders to put their supporters in check.
This is the second time in less than a week that the NESTF led by the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akufo Dampare has engaged political parties.
On Tuesday, three issues bordering on election security was tabled before the political parties for discussion.
