As Ghana nears its presidential and parliamentary elections, the Ghana Culture Forum has called on citizens to uphold peace, unity, and respect for democratic values.

In a statement issued on Thursday, December 5, 2024, it stressed the need for a shared commitment to safeguarding the nation's democratic legacy. "Our nation's history demands a collective commitment to credible elections.

We urge all citizens to embrace the peace, unity, and mutual respect that define our country as a beacon of democracy," it noted.

The Forum also urged Ghanaians to resist any attempts to exploit cultural or ethnic differences for political gain, emphasising the importance of building a harmonious and inclusive society.
