The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, has criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for initiating last-minute projects in the Ashanti Region, despite neglecting the area for the past four years.
During his campaign tour in the Ashanti Region, Mahama highlighted that the NPP government is currently rushing to complete projects in an attempt to secure votes ahead of the upcoming elections. "Let's be honest, the NPP has been very unfair to the people of Ashanti.
This is their stronghold, yet they have failed to finish the projects they started.
After eight years in power, very little has been accomplished.
