The Coalition of Hygiene Students Ghana has announced its decision not to participate in the upcoming December 7 elections.

This decision follows the association's submission of a petition to the Ministry of Health and Sanitation, highlighting unresolved issues affecting interns and national service personnel across the country.

Speaking to Channel One News, the association's organiser, Edmund Asare expressed frustration over the lack of response from authorities despite repeated efforts to have their concerns addressed.

He stated that their grievances have been ignored, leaving them with no option but to abstain from voting or consider voting against the incumbent government. "So far, we have not heard from any of the executives, no one including the director but they are saying that the minister is not around as she has gone to her constituency to campaign neglecting our petition for now, so we don't know what to do. "We are stranded but come Saturday there is an election.
