Hon.

Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, the former Majority Leader in Parliament, has made a passionate appeal to the people of the Ashanti region.

Speaking during an appearance on Angel FM in Kumasi, he urged the region's supporters to continue backing the New Patriotic Party (NPP), especially in light of recent remarks by members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mensah Bonsu made it clear that the NDC's criticism of the NPP government and its ongoing projects, particularly the Suame Interchange, should serve as a warning to Ashanti voters. "The NDC has already shown its intent to undermine the work of President Nana Akufo-Addo's administration," he said. "This is evident in their stance on the Suame Interchange, a project that is transforming the region." The Suame Interchange, a major infrastructure project aimed at improving the traffic flow in one of Kumasi's busiest areas, has been a point of contention between the NPP and the NDC.
