The Electoral Commission (EC) has called for police investigations into the viral video of a white truck transporting a copy of a supposed Voters Register for Ahafo Ano 1 and 2.
The Commission in a statement on December 4, 2024 said the voters' register together with the truck does not belong to the EC and are not official.
According to the EC, its voters' registers are black and white and not coloured as shown in the video. "We urge the Police to investigate this matter.
The registration number of the pick-up truck, which is visible in the video, should be able to assist the Police in their investigations," the statement noted.
