The flagbearer for the Movement for Change, Mr Alan Kyerematen, has promised to develop the five regions of the North during his recent tour of the regions.
According to him, he observed the challenges facing the communities, an area brimming with untapped potential and pledged to prioritise their development if elected.
Mr Kyerematen expressed concern about the region's lack of basic social and economic infrastructure, which he described as a significant gap in leadership by successive governments. "In some communities, children are learning under poor conditions in extreme heat, while access to clean water remains a daily struggle for many families.
This situation hinders their ability to thrive and fulfill their potential." He said that such challenges perpetuate cycles of poverty and inequality, holding back not only the region but the nation as a whole.
