The traditional rulers of Pru West in the Bono East Region have publicly pledged their support for Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana, and the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), Stephen Pambiin Jalulah.
During a visit to the two paramountcies in the Pru West District of the Bono East region by professor Ameyaw-Akumfi, the Chiefs, Nana Kru Takyi II Abaase Manhene and Nana Kwadwo Nyarko III declared their full support for the NPP in view of massive infrastructural development in the area.
