A total of 3,240 out of the 3,600 registered voters for the special voting exercise have exercised their franchise, with a 90 percent turnout.
The figure comprises 2,291 males and 940 females.
Nuhu Mahama, the Oti Regional Director of the Electoral Commission, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, said Krachi East recorded the highest turnout of 628, with Guan returning 51.
A total of 423,765 registered voters in the Oti Region are expected to vote on Saturday as Ghana heads to the polls. "The upcoming general election is crucial for the country, and the EC has been working tirelessly to ensure a smooth and peaceful voting process, with Saturday's polls expected to be highly contested," he said.
