The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, has criticised the Akufo-Addo administration, claiming that Ghanaians have faced severe economic hardships over the past eight years.

According to him, the economic challenges have not only affected those in the lower-income bracket but have also significantly impacted the middle class.

Speaking during an interview with Bernard Avle on Channel One TV's The Point of View, Kwetey highlighted the decline in several sectors under the current government.

He cited the collapse of banks and microfinance institutions, widespread job losses, and significant reductions in the investments of pensioners as key indicators of economic mismanagement.
