In a significant political development, NDC parliamentary candidate John Dumelo has filed a complaint with Ghana's Office of the Special Prosecutor against incumbent MP Lydia Alhassan.
The complaint alleges that during the special voting exercise, Alhassan distributed packages to voters, an act Dumelo considers a violation of electoral laws.
