A financial analyst, Dr Michael Dawson has criticised the Director of Research of the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA), Dr John Kwakye, for his unfair and negative criticisms of the Bank of Ghana, saying his comment can affect the stability of the financial sector.
He cites Dr Kwakye's recent X post describing the Bank of Ghana monetary policy rate as a failure. "I am very disappointed to read Dr Kwakye's post on X.
This is a former member of the BoG Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) and spent about 10 years on that committee.
