Disqualified Presidential Candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Philip Appiah Kubi also known as Roman Fada, has denied claims that the GFP has endorsed the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as stated during a supposed press conference organized by the party.
During a media briefing earlier on Wednesday, December 4, an individual claiming to be the Deputy General Secretary of the GFP, Jerry Addo, announced that after extensive discussions with party executives, the GFP had decided to back the NDC.
Addo mentioned that the decision was influenced by the NDC's policies, particularly proposals to establish a Women's Development Bank and provide free tuition for first-year tertiary students, should the party win the December 7 elections.
However, in an interview with CitiNewsroom.com on Wednesday, December 4, Appiah Kubi vehemently refuted the claims, stating that the supposed endorsement was false.
