Over 500 members of the Movement for Change, a group of former New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters, have declared their support for the NPP's presidential candidate ahead of Saturday's elections.

The group expressed dissatisfaction with the events surrounding the departure of Alan Kyerematen from the NPP.

However, they acknowledged that the newly formed Movement for Change lacks the organizational capacity and resources to secure victory in the upcoming polls.

In a statement, members emphasised their decision to back the NPP, highlighting the party's track record and potential to deliver development compared to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
