The judge presiding over the murder case of former Abuakwa North MP JB Danquah has ordered a retrial against the accused person Daniel Asiedu.
This is after the jury of seven returned with a hung verdict of 4:3 not guilty.
The judge in line with section 285(4) of ACT 30 discharged the jury as the verdict was not one that the court could act on.
The accused was, however, detained by Justice Lydia Osei Marfo.
