The Ashanti Regional branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has reaffirmed its strong determination to make every single ballot count on December 7.
With few days to the election, the party is accusing the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of deploying intimidation tactics to fuel voter apathy in the stronghold of the NPP. "We want to assure you of our firm commitment to a peaceful electioneering process and also indicate clearly that any form of crude tactics and intimidation will be opposed fiercely. "We urge the Police Service, Military and other security services to work and act professionally.
We also urge the electoral officers to work professionally and not in ways that will create rejected ballots or compromise any vote. "To the good people of the Ashanti Region, we commit to making sure your vote counts and that nobody will be allowed to intimidate you on polling day", Dr Francis Adomako, Ashanti Regional Organiser of NPP said whilst addressing the media.
Dr Adomako called on the people of Ashanti to come out in their numbers and vote on the election day. "We are hopeful of a very massive voter turnout on December 07, 2024.
