Over 500 young people in the Ketu South constituency of the Volta Region have graduated with various vocational skills from a program initiated by the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, three years ago.
The initiative aims to empower beneficiaries by equipping them with practical skills for sustainable livelihoods.
Running for the past three years, the program has been described as life-changing for both the beneficiaries and the constituency at large.
Participants have been trained in various trades, including dressmaking, hairdressing, shoemaking, plumbing, phone repairs, baking, ICT, and soapmaking.
