The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, has expressed optimism about the party's prospects in the Ablekuma Central constituency.
Speaking to the media during the nationwide Special Voting exercise, Mr Moore stated that if the general elections were held today, the NDC would likely secure victory in the constituency. "I am confident that this special voting exercise in this constituency would have favored the NDC if it were the general election.
We would sweep not less than 56% of the votes," Moore declared.
He also assured supporters that the party would safeguard every vote, stating, "We will protect every vote, even if it's just half of one." Moore commended the peaceful conduct of the special voting exercise and praised the efforts of security personnel and other participants for ensuring a smooth process.
