Officers at the Legon Police Station in Accra had a tough time controlling a crowd that showed up at the station following the conclusion of Monday's Special Voting exercise.
A horde of supporters, led by the Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, , escorted the police to the station where the ballot boxes were sent for safekeeping after the polls closed.
Walking side by side with the electoral official holding the ballot box, and a crowd of NDC supporters, accompanied by police officers, arrived at the station where the ballot boxes are to be kept until December 7, 2024.
As part of the 's guidelines, ballots for the Special Voting exercise are to be kept at various police armories until after the close of polls in the general election, before the ballot boxes will be opened and the votes counted.
