Contrary to Ghanaian laws that bar electorates from sharing their ballot papers in the public domain, some electorates in the special voting have shared their ballots online.
Photos available to this website that have since gone viral; some security personnel and the media have shared their ballots on social media.
Some of the photos are ballot papers seen by this website, including one for John Dramani Mahama, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and the Member of Parliament for Okaikwei South, Darkoa Newman.
Article 49 (1) of Ghana's constitution indicates that at any public election of referendum, voting shall be by secret ballot.
