The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo said human capital development through education was the only tool that could bring development to the country.
He said he was proud for the successful introduction of the Free Senior High School (FSHS), which he said prepared a strong foundation for the country's development.
Nana Akufo-Addo said he was satisfied as he was about to end his two terms as president, in view of the successes achieved in the areas of education, health infrastructure development and the road sector, which made him a happy president whose legacy would forever be remembered in the history of the country.
Speaking at a stakeholders meeting in Ho in the Volta Region and Dambai in the Oti Region as part of his thank you tour of the country, the President stressed that development nations across the world had succeeded through sustainable quality education, adding that Ghana could not develop without building a strong human capital through education.
