Kwame A Plus Musician and politician, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as Kwame A Plus has said Ghanaian artistes only show concern about their music royalties when they are not selling shows. According to him, top artistes like Stonebwoy and Sarkodie do not complain about royalties because they are getting shows and making money. Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM on Tuesday, August 13, A Plus explained that if elected as MP for Gomoa Central, he would not focus on fighting for royalties for artistes because they only concern themselves with royalties when their careers are struggling. "I'm not here to come and spend my time fighting for people's royalties. Because the people that you are going to fight for, they only start talking about royalties when they are not getting shows and are not selling then they remember that they have royalties.
