Deputy General Secretary for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mustapha Gbande has explained that Makola Market will be run for 24 Hours if John Dramani Mahama wins the 2024 elections.
He says that unlike recently when there is traffic just because people have to make their purchases during the day, that will be a thing of the past.
Rather, the NDC intends to station security personnel and light up the city to allow for the market to run throughout the night.
Speaking on Accra-based TV3, Mustapha Grande indicated, "We intend to beef up the security so that people feel safe and secure.
