Musician and politician, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as Kwame A Plus, has said the inability for creative arts persons to unite is the cause of the challenges facing the sector. According to him, the problems in the industry are mainly caused  by the creatives arts people and not politicians. Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, A-Plus bemoaned the lack of unity among the players in the sector. "The problem with creative arts is the creative arts people themselves. It's not the politicians. Everybody wants to be seen as 'me doing this.
