President has asked the Ghana Air Force to sustain its collaboration with state institutions to safeguard the country's energy infrastructure.
He said it was important to ward off any potential threats to these vital state facilities as the State sought to protect its territorial integrity and economic interests.
Addressing the 2024 Wings Parade of the Ghana Air Force, in Accra, the President noted that the Ghana Armed Force's partnership with entities such as the Volta River Authority (VRA) and Ghana Gas Company had proved instrumental in safeguarding critical resources.
In a bid to strengthen the operational capability, combat efficiency, and logistics of the Armed Forces, the Akufo-Addo-led government has taken significant steps towards restructuring and retooling.
