The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia has promised to make the Afram Plains South a food basket if elected in the December polls.
Campaigning in the constituency, Dr.
Bawumia noted he would leverage the vast land and availability of water to make his promise a reality.
