The people of the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region for the first time in their history have a fully completed astroturf facility, thanks to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Puis Enam Hadzide who has commissioned the facility for use by the general public.
Mr.
Hadzide, also the NPP Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for the area on Monday, 31st July, 2023 broke the grounds for the construction of the GH₵5m project at the Senchi Methodist Basic School to help enhance and improve the development of young football talents in the area.
The project with funding from the NYA allocation of the District Assembly's Common Fund (DACF), is anticipated to serve as the game changer in sports development in the area.
